Ranking method

How CHESS is ranked

Positions come only from verified entries published by EWUESPC admins.
Rating is the total of published points.
Ties are broken by: more wins, then higher win rate, then fewer losses. Still level = shared position.
Tournament placements award 1st: 100, 2nd: 70, 3rd–4th: 50, 5th–8th: 30, 9th and below: 15; other finishers 5.
Win rate shows after 3 recorded matches.
Player and team rankings are calculated independently; a team's points are not the sum of its players'.
